Hello!

I recently graduated from the University of San Francisco where I earned my B.A. in Design. I am originally from Seattle, Washington and am particularly interested in illustration, print design, and typography. I am eager to apply my skills and ways of thinking, learning, and problem-solving as a designer to a variety of disciplines and techniques.

I enjoy unearthing the context, history, and stories surrounding each project. My extensive research provides a foundation for meaningful and resonant design. By weaving thoughtful details from my research into my work, I can create designs that are informed, captivating, and deeply connected to the subject matter's essence and the project’s goals. My work often combines the charm and personality of analog practices like collage and hand-drawn type and illustration with contemporary digital skills and techniques.

When I’m not in the studio, you can find me in the kitchen baking sourdough bread, taking care of my plants, or reading in the park. I am driven by a perpetual quest for inspiration and a deep appreciation for the small and wonderful things in life!

I am currently working as a Design Fellow at Chronicle Books on Adult Books + Gifts!
